But running was only one part of the event. There was also a costume parade with 38 dogs. Some wore funny costumes, including a dinosaur suit and sports clothes.
In another competition, dogs used their noses to search for hidden treats. There was also a contest to find the dog with the loudest bark.
Mr. Corgington did not win the main race, but he had another reason to celebrate. He won the loudest bark competition. For the corgis, the event was also a chance to have fun.
