FAQ

How long does one lesson usually take (class or self-study)?

Most lessons can be 20-40 minutes, depending on level and how many activities you include. Discussion length can vary a lot by level and class size. For self-study, many learners finish in 15-30 minutes. Completing non-listening activities will increase the total lesson time.

Should learners read the text before listening?

Usually, no for the first listen. Let learners listen once first, then use the text, activities, and re-listens to confirm meaning and details.

Are the lesson voices AI-generated or human?

2024 and earlier lessons use human recordings. 2025 and later interactive lessons use AI-generated voices from a Google AI text-to-speech model.

How many times should learners listen, and can they replay difficult parts?

Two to three listens is a practical target: first for overall understanding, second for comprehension tasks, and a third for gap-fill and detail checks. Replaying difficult parts is recommended.
